What’s a hovercraft?
A hovercraft is an air cushion vehicle. It can travel across any relatively flat surface including land, water, snow, mud, ice, etc. Full sized hovercraft are commonly used in areas where wheeled or tracked vehicles would get stuck.
How does it work?
Blowers (fans) are used to blow air under the vehicle, to lift it slightly. The vehicle is then propelled forward on that cushion of air. The weight of the hovercraft is evenly spread over the entire surface of the hull (body).
Materials
The primary material for our hovercraft, recycled ABS scraps, are durable. The ABS is resistant to heat and cold… and to impact, like when practicing drivers crash.
Motors
Our all-electric vehicle kits each have a powerful brushless motor.
Batteries
Each kit includes a rechargeable lithium polymer battery.

Fast and Fascinating
Hovercraft can be driven solo, put through obstacle courses, and (our favorite) raced with friends! Learning to handle a hovercraft, whether with the double joystick or the steering wheel controller, is a fun and engaging challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special assembly supplies?
Nearly everything you will need will be included in your kit! If you intend to adapt from your base hovercraft or you need to do some repairs after a rough adventure, hot glue and double-sided sticky tape will get you quite far. Googly eyes and other decals don’t hurt either.
Is my hovercraft waterproof?
Hovercraft operate on any relatively flat surface, such as driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, indoor floors, and dirt paths. Some full-size hovercraft can even drive on water! When properly equipped, these kits can operate on puddles and larger calm bodies of water.
